A branch is a subsidiary unit of an enterprise, responsible for performing all or part of the functions of the enterprise, including the function of authorizing the enterprise or representing it under authorization. Although it is allowed to conduct business activities, a branch is only a unit under the company, without independent legal status. A branch is the only type of subsidiary unit that can issue red invoices (value-added invoices) and must declare value-added tax similar to a company.
